Saturday June 2, 2018 - Opposition Chief, Raila Odinga, has maintained that he will continue with his push for Constitutional amendments despite President Uhuru Kenyatta’s and Deputy President William Ruto’s stand against changes to the supreme law.

Speaking in Mombasa during an Iftar dinner organized by Governor Ali Joho, Raila defended his bid to have the Constitution changed for a better Kenya.


He said the proposed changes will ensure equity and regional balance in the governance of the country.

Raila also wants the Constitution changed to allow for an Executive Prime Minister with a ceremonial Presidency.

Besides, he has proposed changes that seek to create a three-tier system of Government.
