Here is the company that has looted KPC 50.7 billion as Manager, JOE SANG, fumbles to defend the dubious deal

...Zakhem, a Lebanese firm that was awarded a lucrative tender to build a new pipeline at an inflated cost of sh50.7 billion.

The firm had agreed to put up a new pipeline at the cost of sh48 billion but the managers at KPC adjusted the cost upward by at least sh2.7 billion.


KPC Managing Director, Joe Sang, has defended the deal with Zakhem.

He says the tender was done above board with all the recommendations taken into account.

Police are also tracking six questionable transactions in KPC with a view of bringing those responsible to book.
