CHILOBA goes back at IEBC despite his tainted image and the 2017 blunders but only for 4 hours! CHEBUKATI kicks him out again

Thursday June 14, 2018 - Embattled IEBC CEO, Ezra Chiloba, bounced back after winning the first legal battle with his Chairman, Wafula Chebukati, over his suspension.

The Employment and Labour Relations Court on Thursday allowed Chiloba to resume work even as it determines the case he filed against Chairman Wafula Chebulati and the commission.

In his ruling, Justice Stephen Radido said the decision to send Chiloba on compulsory leave pending an audit did not have contractual obligation.

Radido noted that it would not be proportionate and in public interest to uphold the decision by Chebukati and IEBC to suspend Chiloba because the decision had no contractual or legal foundation.

The Judge said being a Constitutional organ, IEBC should uphold the highest standards in its operations and should do everything by the book.
