MATIANGI now regrets beating and clobbering journalists at JKIA who were covering the drama around MIGUNA

...beaten up by police officers when they were just doing their job.

He, however, said the journalists had crossed the line and went beyond the area where filming is not allowed.

But all in all, he said the journalists did not deserve the beatings they got from police.
He said that the matter is being investigated by IPOA and promised to take action..

“I take full responsibility for whatever happened and I will abide by what recommendations of the investigation will be.”

“I have described it as unfortunate and apologise for that,” Matiangi said.
