Majority of Kenyans support MIKE SONKO‘s decision of cleaning Nairobi from matatus and the hawkers’ menace

…Thursday ordered the demolition of all illegal structures in the CBD including those in Ngara, Parklands, Bus Station and Muthurwa termini.

Nairobi Deputy Director of Enforcement, Peter Mbaya, said they want to clear illegal structures so that Nairobi can become clean and less congested.


Mbaya said that they are rushing against time to clear the terminus for vehicles which are expected to be out by April 23rd.

"I have said it over and over through the media that we are preparing spaces for the matatus to terminate.”

“Six months later, they can’t claim that they need a notice," said Mbaya.
