Go home! Court dismisses CHILOBA’s petition where he is challenging his suspension by CHEBUKATI from the IEBC

Chiloba now has no choice but to go on forced and compulsory leave unless he appeals the decision in the appellate court.

In his case, Chiloba had argued that his suspension was unlawful because it was hurriedly arrived at by a few commissioners.

“The decision was arrived at without the requisite quorum.”

“It went against the Second Schedule to the IEBC Act which requires the Commission to have a specific number of Commissioners to be able to make such decisions,” Chiloba argued in his affidavit.
