….accompanied President Uhuru Kenyatta to a three day State visit to Cuba.
Raila forwarded the name of Kisumu Governor, Prof Anyang Nyong’o, who is among the Kenyan team that will sign health deals with the Cuban government.
Prof. Nyongo is a close friend of Raila Odinga and he is the father to Oscar Award winning actress, Lupita Nyongo.
During the trip, nobody from Ruto’s camp accompanied the President to Cuba.
Raila Odinga and Uhuru Kenyatta held a two hour meeting at Harambee House on Friday last week where they agreed to set aside their political differences and work together to unite Kenya and calm political tensions.
