Kenyans go mad after Kenyatta National Hospital doctors conduct brain surgery on wrong patient (LOOK)

Friday, March 02, 2018 - Kenyatta National Hospital is making headlines once again for all the wrong reasons after doctors carried out brain surgery on the wrong patient.

Two men were admitted last Sunday unconscious and one needed head surgery to remove a blood clot in the brain while the other needed nursing and medication.

However, a mix up between the two saw the wrong patient wheeled into theater and his skull opened.

Doctors only realized the mistake, hours into the delicate operation.

The shocking incident has sparked outrage among Kenyans with many calling for KNH CEO, Lily Koros, to resign.

Kenyans are now afraid of seeking medical attention at the biggest referral hospital in the country.

This has also brought to the fore the issue of negligence in most hospitals which often lead to unnecessary loss of lives.

See how Kenyans reacted on social media.
