Anger and backlash as UHURU/ RUTO’s Government slashes police salaries by half after fooling them during elections

Friday March 16, 2018 - Barely two weeks after Treasury Cabinet Secretary, Henry Rotich, claimed that the Government was broke and cannot fund certain projects, the police are paying through the nose already.


This is after the Government of President Uhuru Kenyatta and his Deputy, William Ruto, slashed the salaries of police officers by almost half.

  1. I hope this is not true. How do MPs,governors, MCAs refuse salary cuts and the. You go slice those of police who are earning peanuts? Do you have a reason to complain when they ask for bribes?

  2. POLICE DONT NEED SALARIES JUST CHECK WHETHER THEY WITHDRAW THEIR SALARIES FROM THEIR BANK ACCOUNTS

  3. src did little to amend anomaly that is in public staff education verses salary.
    one shud be paid according to job advertised......not that when you do self study and get a diploma or degree when working one salary is automatically increased yet does normal duties unlike a boss without those qualification.....this system is one causing teachers strikes every year..

    if it was like this in developed world then they could not be where they are today...

    Kenya is system where ati someone will demand more as mtu ya mkono kwa vile ako na degree....sh*thole system in sh*thole nation...
