The father of the nation also urged Kenyans to be intolerant of careless and dangerous drivers saying the enforcement of traffic rules and safety was the responsibility of every Kenyan.

He said over 80 per cent of road crashes were caused by people who did not maintain their vehicles, were careless and speeding.

Uhuru also said that he will lobby Parliament to disband NTSA because it has failed in its mandate of curbing road carnage in Kenya.
