University of Nairobi deregisters MITHINKA LINTURI’s degree and say he presented fake papers - He is now going home!

...could not trace Linturi's name in the graduation book of 2001, effectively implying he was not a student at the institution.

The university has now moved a step further to deregister the Senator, effectively rendering any degree papers he holds ineffective.

This sets the stage for concerned Kenyans to petition his position as Senator for Meru County over his academic qualifications and integrity.

Apparently, Linturi has contravened Chapter 6 of the constitution on Leadership and Integrity and the consequences include being charged with forgery, removal from office and being barred from holding any public office.
