EKURU AUKOT now wants UN to conduct the repeat election after court ruling-No rigging again

Saturday September 2, 2017-Thirdway Alliance Presidential candidate Ekuru Aukot now wants the United Nations to conduct the next Presidential election scheduled for the next 2 months following the nullification of President Uhuru Kenyatta’s win.

Speaking outside the Supreme Court after the verdict in the presence of NASA leaders, Aukot hailed the historic ruling by Chief Justice David Maraga and the bench, saying the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission cannot be trusted to oversee another election in this country.

He also called for the arrest of IEBC Chairman Wafula Chebukati and CEO Ezra Chiloba for bungling the August 8th polls because they are criminals.

“The current electoral management body must go for they are criminals who should be charged in the court of law. Our view is that the next General Elections should be held by the United Nations,” Aukot said.

  1. why do people believe in foreigners? Do they believe in themselves? No wonder they never achieve much.

  2. The UN cannot replace IEBC under the current legal framework as set out in the Constitution. There is no room for the UN be involved in the conduct of the elections in Kenya on call by you or by anybody else for that matter not unless there is a due process to bring in the UN to substitute IEBC.
