WAIGURU is a certified thief! MARTHA KARUA rejects results and refuses to concede defeat

Saturday August 12, 2017-NARC Kenya gubernatorial candidate in the just concluded Kirinyaga race Martha Karua has rejected the results and refused to concede defeat by her Jubilee counterpart Anne Waiguru.

In a statement, Karua disputed the results saying she was rigged out by her rival.

She expressed her dissatisfaction with the tallying of the results by the IEBC, adding that the elections were not free and fair.

Karua vowed to move to court to challenge the results, insisting that Waiguru did not beat her.

"We disputed the counting and tallying and demanded a recount while the process was ongoing which IEBC denied." Karua’s statement read in part.

However, she thanked the people of Kirinyaga who believed in her and voted overwhelmingly for her.

“As such we are exploring legal options to open the process to scrutiny in line with an open and transparent process a fundamental requisite to free, fair and credible elections." She added.

In the results declared by IEBC, Karua was beaten by Anne Waiguru, who garnered 159606 votes (54.09%) against her 120341 votes (40.78%).

  1. Kwani she did not have agents on the ground when the votes were being counted? Does she remember that Abduba Dida beat her in the presidential race of 2012 and she did not ask for a recount?

  2. JOSPHINE KABURA will be Procurement officer in Kirinyaga
