See what IEBC did to RAILA ODINGA’S agents in Mombasa after technology failed

Thursday August 10, 2017-The Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) was on Thursday forced to kick party agents out of the tallying center in Mvita, Mombasa County.

This is after the Kenya Integrated Election Management System (KIEMS) failed to transmit results of the Tuesday elections.

At first, the party agents, including NASA agents, were not informed of the circumstances why they were chased from the station forcing them to resist. However, the IEBC officials later on communicated as to why they had to do it.

The failure by the KIEMS slowed down the transmission of election results in some centers as the Presiding Officers were forced to enter the results manually.

Nonetheless, most of the KIEMS worked well around the country safe for low network coverage in some parts.
