ODM’s GLADYS WANGA caught up in post-election protests in MATHARE (PHOTOs)

Saturday, August 12, 2017- Homa Bay women representative Gladys Wanga is among Nasa leaders who have been blocked by police from visiting Kibra and Mathare-the hot bed of post-election protests.

Police have been engaging supporters of opposition leader, Raila Odinga, in running battles following the announcement of Uhuru Kenyatta as the duly elected president.

Nasa leaders were headed to Mathare to urge their supports to be calm but were forced to abort their mission after anti-riot police lobbed teargas canisters on their entourage.
