I don’t want to see MUIGAI at the Supreme Court as amicus curiae! RAILA ODINGA to MARAGA

….be enjoined in the case because he is partisan.

“We will contest his application.”

“Previous positions he has taken in pre-election litigation clearly show he is partisan,” said Mwangi.

Last evening, the Supreme Court, which has only 14 days to hear and determine the case, issued new deadlines for the petitioner and respondent as it gears up for the hearing.

Chief Justice David Maraga said Mr Odinga’s team should send its written submissions by Friday 1pm and the IEBC, its chairman Wafula Chebukati and President Kenyatta by 7pm the same day.

  1. NASA Team: you want to dictate everybody including judiciry, IEBC, etc

  2. Prof. Githu Muigai as the AG of Kenya has a right to to be enjoined an amicus curie of the court to assist it in reaching a fair decidion. The AG brings in case law from other jurisdictions and relevant jurisprudence to help the bench decifer the evidence. The ODM petitioner can not dictate who the court should use and he is completely misinformed.

  3. Does everything in this country have to run at Raila's behest? Are freedom fighters supposed to be paid at all the cost we have paid Raila. Blood shed that never ends till he is president. Sincerely, do people fight for their countries so that they force it on citizens to make them -"Nationalists" presidents or they burn the country? Too big a price!! I wish he left it to the others to fight for our freedom because they do not ask for payment from us.
If when this man is not president Kenya will burn (and indeed it has burned severally through him), then you wonder what comes first. Kenya or him. You wonder whether there was any sincerity ever.

  4. Does Raila think he is the de facto emperor of Kenya? Does he realise he represents nobody politically apart from himself? I am afraid has no power whatsoever to deny Githu Muigai from discharging his duties as the legal adviser to the state. You have been stumped on that one.
