RUTO may be banned from being UHURU’s running mate in 2017! Tables turn as IEBC threatens

...participate in harambees from contesting in 2017.

“We want the people to know their electoral rights.”

“It is not only IEBC that will monitor the process.”

“Everyone will and their input will save us,” said Limo.

“IEBC is keen this time to enforce the Elections Act, so let the politicians observe the established electoral laws if they don’t want to be found culpable,” he added.

Ruto is known for holding harambees almost every week and the law seems to be targeting him.

Only last week, the DP faulted the Catholic Church for banning politicians from presiding over church harambees.

The Elections Act prohibits politicians from participating in harambees eight months to the General Election.

  1. Daily Post sometimes you publish very useless stories. The DP is not stupid. Who tells you that he will be conducting fund raising in January onward? For your information he has done enough harambees and he is the one that has advised the IEBC to come up with the rule so that the likes of Raila do not conduct any harambees and be ignored by the electorates. Before you publish a political story consult political analysts.
