Shame on UHURU as flood washes away part of SGR - RAILA was right, Chinese duped us

.. heavy rains that have been pounding parts of Ukambani for the past one week.

Kenyans expressed doubts on the quality of the SGR, which is being done by a Chinese firm and challenged the Jubilee Government to assure the country that it’s getting value for money over the project.

However, engineers led by James Karanja, who are on the ground dispelled fears of poor workmanship, saying the damage was minimal and normal in any construction site.

“It was not SGR that was washed away by rains.”

“What happened was the protection slope of the railway was hit and damaged by storm waters before the drainage system was completed.”

“That is normal in construction sites so there is no cause for alarm,” said Karanja.

SGR is one of the flagship projects of the Jubilee administration.
