See what UHURU plans to do with our sh 1b even after 5billion scandal involving her sister

Thursday, November 3, 2016 - President Uhuru Kenyatta has launched a whopping sh1 billion irrigation project in semi-arid West Pokot County.

The Weiwei Integrated Development Project, which won an award from the United Nations Environmental Programme (UNEP) for doing excellently well in desertification control and food security, is being implemented by Kerio Valley Development Authority (KVDA) and the Government of Italy.

“We will be launching the third phase of Weiwei Irrigation Scheme at the cost of sh1 billion with the previous two phases having given very positive results and transformed the livelihood of the locals,” said the KVDA Managing Director, David Kimosop, yesterday.

State House confirmed Uhuru would preside over the launch of the sh1 billion project.

The project comes amid many corruption scandals worth billions of shillings some of which have touched on President Uhuru Kenyatta’s family.
