Sunday November 20, 2016 - Mogotio Member of
Parliament, Hellen Sambili, has called for fresh investigations into the sh1.8
billion National Youth Service Scandal for the real culprits to be brought to
book as soon as possible.
Speaking during the launch of NYS

Sambili urged President Uhuru Kenyatta to initiate fresh investigations into

depends on the youth and the moment we empower them, we are assured of a sober
country in times to come,” said Sambili.
“Anyone who defrauded NYS should
be brought to book and should also give back the money” she added.
Apart from former Devolution
Cabinet Secretary, Anne Waiguru, and her friends, Deputy President William
Ruto’s PA, Farouk Kibet, and Elegeyo Marakwet Senator, Kipchumba Murkomen, have
been implicated in the scandal.
