CORD & Jubilee clash again over the role of the outgoing poll team! See what they are doing

... 2017 election in favour of Uhuru.

Sources revealed that the outgoing commissioners were exploiting a lacuna that exists in the Election Laws (Amendment) Act, which was negotiated between CORD and Jubilee, to continue handling preparations for 2017 polls, a move that the Opposition is unhappy about.

“In our views, this commission should have left office on September 30.”

“They should have handed over any other responsibility to the secretariat.”

“By them remaining in office to undertake duties that Kenyans had unanimously agreed they could not entrust them to do is failing to read the mood of the country,” said ODM Chairman, John Mbadi.

The two outfits are also divided on the decision by IEBC to source an external firm to audit the voters’ register.
