Arch. WABUKALA may be named EACC boss this week-Looters have nowhere to hide

Sunday, November 20, 2016 - The nominee for the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC) chairperson’s post will be known this week.

This follows the conclusion of interviews of all potential candidates last week with the list set to be released this week.

Public Service Commission (PSC) is already analyising marks scored by the six shortlisted candidates.

“All the candidates turned up. We will inform you of the results later,” said PSC Chairperson, Margret Kobia.

Those interviewed include retired Anglican, Eliud Wabukala, former Agricultural Development Corporation Managing Director, William Kipkemboi, Philomena Mwaisaka, who served in the defunct Commission for the Implementation of the Constitution, Peter Bita Ondieki, who is Inspector General of State Corporations, Rose Bosibori (Commission on Revenue Allocation) and Erastus Iguna Rweria.

But sources reveal Wabukala is President Uhuru Kenyatta’s favourite candidate for the job and he could be name the next chair of EACC.
