We will jail everyone involved in 5billion scandal, even UHURU’s sister and cousin - RUTO

Sunday October 30, 2016 - Deputy President William Ruto has defended the Jubilee Government’s commitment in fighting against corruption.

Speaking over the weekend, Ruto regretted the emergence of the sh5 billion scandal in the Ministry of Health, saying the Government is on top of things.

He assured the country that all those involved in looting public money meant for the sick will be prosecuted and jailed without fear or favour.

The Deputy President noted that there were no sacred cows in the Jubilee Government in the fight against corruption and that no one will be spared, not even President Uhuru Kenyatta’s cousin, Kathleen Kihanya, and sister, Nyokabi Muthama, who are among the directors of one of the company involved in the theft of sh5 billion from the Ministry of Health.

However, Ruto asked Kenyans to be patient and give investigating agencies ample time to probe the scandal so that they don’t send innocent people to jail.

  1. KUleni nyama tu bwana Willy.

  2. RUTO should be in jail first

  3. Bravo CORD for insisting those involved should go home.Curiously I am hearing of calls for PS Muraguri to go home. I have not heard calls for CS Mailu to go home. During NYS scandal we only heard calls for former CS Waiguru to go but never heard that of PS Mangiti to do likewise. Why the double standards? Why should Muraguri go home alone. It is only fair for both the CS and the PS to face the music. Period!!!
