Wednesday September 21, 2016 - Kenya Defence Forces (KDF) are proud to host one of the best Special Forces in the world over the next two weeks to train on combat skills against terrorists especially the Al Shabaab and ISIS militants.

On Wednesday morning, a platoon of over 200 officers from Jordan Special Forces arrived in the country for a critical joint exercise with an elite unit in the KDF.

The Jordanian Special Forces are considered one of the best in the world and are in Kenya to share skills with KDF on how to defeat Al Shabaab.

The Jordan Special Forces also known as the Quick Response Unit (QRU) will perform joint military drills including simulated airline hijackings and close-quarter fighting in addition to K9 integration exercises.
