Friday September 23, 2016 - The search for the new Chief Justice has cost Kenyan taxpayers a fortune with the Judicial Service Commission said to have gobbled a massive sh 10 million and more just to pick Court of Appeal Judge, David Maraga, as the next Chief Justice and President of the Supreme Court.

According to documents available now, each of the nine commissioners was entitled to a daily sitting allowance for the 12 days they conducted the interviews in search of the new CJ and their trip to The Hague.
