This is why UHURU is yet to replace IEBC’s ROSELYN AKOMBE who fled the country to the US for fear of her life

...even as the IEBC Vice Chairperson, Connie Maina, confirmed that indeed Akombe resigned formally and that they informed the President.

“She resigned formally and the commission informed the President.”

“We also wrote to the Head of Public Service, Joseph Kinyua, reminding him of the process but he is yet to respond,” Maina said.

But according to State House Spokesman, Manoah Esipisu, Akombe’s replacement is not top of the President’s list of priorities.

“The matter is not among the areas of priority for the President.”

“So I won’t be able to tell you when the process will start,” said Esipisu.
