...technical expertise saying the Ministry and staff had a greater responsibility to touch the lives of millions of children.

“I know how much work it takes to get our reform process moving,” Mohamed said.

“We should deepen our impact and resolve to work together,” Mohamed added.

  1. "My father chastised you with whips, l will chastise you with scorpions".

  2. Welcome Mum Amina. True. The EDUCATION sector needs true reforms.
I am a high school teacher and retired having served as principal.
I know school heads/principals are gods unto themselves and have hindered many of our children from accessing education. They are in schools looking for glory and riches, without caring about children, particularly the poor ones. They are okay if a poor bright boy or girl drops out of school for luck of fees and other
unlawful and exaggerated payments required of parents.
The heads will of course resist so much using the Unions but it will take resilience from the ministry and TSC to root out head teachers vices-obstacles to intended learning outputs.I like the direction TSC is taking with regard to this. All these have been long overdue and awaited.
