The POLICE and NTSA were behind the Thika Road accident – UHURU/ RUTO and MATIANGI should read this!!!

..pass several roadblocks without being stopped for overloading and speeding.

Fresh details indicate the ill-fated vehicle had 22 passengers onboard.

"It is a shame that we lost lives through sheer carelessness and police laxity," Wainaina said.

The MP said NTSA, which is mandated to ensure safety in the roads, had failed to curb carnage and is only collecting bribes from other road users.

“How does viewing the dead or those injured help NTSA?”

“What is the authority doing to reduce the deaths?" the MP asked.

  1. IG please check those cops always positioned just after the Utalii College and before the exit flyover to Muthaiga during rush hours. They are always on the take from mats and Nganya's that use the service lanes and rejoin the Thika Road lanes where other users going to Muthaiga should be joining the service lane. There are two or three cops positioned there who only flag down the PSVs committing this traffic 'offence' that only slows enough to palm a finje and speed off after greasing the rotten hands of the coppers. I foresee a future where robots will take over traffic control, at least they will not take bribes and never tire! I will drink to that day! These cops add absolutely no value in our lives. Personally i stopped using traffic police for anything even where i have been wronged, i would rather sort out the issue with my offenders man2man and leave out these rotten critters. In fact money permitting, i would rather pay the fine to courts than give to the cops:(
