UHURU’s Govt disowns company that has stolen sh5.6 billion from Kenyans using Govt machinery

..Government has not authorized Goldrock Capital to collect the convenience fee or otherwise derive any remunerative benefit from any transaction carried out through the eCitizen portal,” Thuge stated.

“I am aware that the firm is not authorized by the CS or Treasury to collect revenue for and on behalf of the Government,” he added.

Since 2014, the firm has illegally collected a whopping sh5.6 billion from Kenyans going by Thuge’s statement.

This will be another stain in Uhuru/ Ruto’s Government given that they popularised the eCitizen portal as one way of the Government digitising its services.
