SHOCK on RAILA ODINGA as NRM’s CHRIS WAMALWA moves to extend UHURU/ RUTO’s five-year term

...the Constitution, the General Election should be held on the second Tuesday of August after every five years.

However, Wamalwa now wants the election to be held on the third Monday of December after every five years.


If adopted, President Uhuru Kenyatta’s second term would be extended by close to four months.

“The amendment is to ensure that the date of elections reflects the unique circumstances and traditions of Kenya,” Wamalwa stated.
