Job Vacancy: Finance Intern
Duty Station: Mombasa Road
Salary: KShs. 15K - 20K with opportunity to convert into a full time role based on company needs

This role requires a Bachelor of Finance / Commerce / Business Management graduate with professional qualifications in ACCA / CPA, CIA / CISA.

Our client a producer, packer and exporter / importer of only the best fine quality fruits and vegetables is seeking to hire a finance & tech-savvy Finance intern with at least 1 previous internship experience.
Flexibility is key as the person may be required to work some weekends.
Job Description
·                     Post journal entries
·                     Assist with month-end financial reports
·                     Help with accounts receivable and payable reconciliations
·                     Assist with audits
·                     Balance sheet reconciliation
·                     Work with the finance team on any forecasting efforts
·                     Manage the monthly tracking of our asset inventory
·                     Support the payment processing team
·                     Data entry into the ERP system ensuring that entries are posted correctly
·                     Review and report on the accuracy, timeliness and relevance of the financial and other information that is provided for management decision making
·                     Identifying and promoting good business practice within the business
·                     Credit checks
·                     Work with the Finance Manager to conducts audits on the historical financial transactions posted in accounting system. (Going through the general ledgers to evaluate their integrity)
·                     Any other reasonable duty as may be assigned that is consistent with the nature of the job and its level of responsibility
·                     Bachelor of Finance / Commerce / Business Management with professional qualifications in ACCA / CPA, CIA / CISA.
