UHURU meets CHEBUKATI and insists polls must continue on October 26! I have not given you demands

..Secretary General, Raphael Tuju, had said there was no need for the President to meet the IEBC chairman.

He insisted that the electoral body should just proceed with preparations for the fresh polls.

But Uhuru said he made the decision to clarify to Kenyans that he was not issuing any demands to the commission in the repeat poll.

“I have not issued any demand into the repeat of election.”

“As ordered by the Supreme Court, the election must be held in 60 days and we don’t want games,” Uhuru told Chebukati.
