Solutions Sales Manager
We are pleased to announce the following vacancy in the Enterprise Sales & Retention – Corporate & Public Department within the Enterprise Business Unit Division. In keeping with our current business needs,we are looking for a person who meets the criteria indicated below.
Reporting to the Senior Manager , the position holder will develop and manage existing relationships and service experience through technical solution propositions among Financial Sector & Organizations to ensure growth, profitability and retention. This role will also be responsible for managing and leading the Technical Solution Selling with in the Sector in conjunction with Sector Managers, Relationship Account Managers and Relationship Executives.

Roles

·         To formulate and manage the implementation of marketing plans for the desired Sector;
·         To support the respective Sector Managers , Relationship Managers and Relationship Executives to conduct customer business reviews;
·         To support Sector Managers and Relationship Managers manage, prospect and up-sell ;
·         To effectively manage the existing /new accounts through improved solutions and customer experience by managing end to end process and ensure compliance to service agreement requirements;
·         To respond to enterprise customer technical related issues so as to provide consistent quality of service and get excellent customer rating;
·         To conduct performance appraisal, motivate and train staff in the Financial section;
·         To prepare reports e.g. Progress and Visibility reports, Business decision making process and planning etc;
·         To develop and implement the enterprise technical sales plan in line with the overall business objectives.

Requirements

·         Degree in Commerce/ ICT or a business related;
·         Work experience of 6-7 years preferably managing in a B2G or B2B environment;
·         Knowledge/ Work experience in ICT/Telecommunications will be an added advantage;
·         Strong relationship building skills, preferably from a major blue chip company;
·         Ability to inspire and manage a sales team, deliver results and meet and surpass targets;
·         New business development skills.

Sales Executive
We are pleased to announce the following vacancy in the Nairobi East Region within the Regional Sales Operations Division. In keeping with our current business needs, we are looking for a person who meets the criteria indicated below.
The Sales Executive drive sales within the set Region, with an objective of driving business revenues and opportunities across the customer base to exceed DB through acquisition and retention as well as assuring retention of baseline under their management.

Roles

·         Development of plans to achieve set billed revenue targets in the territory.
·         Increase product and Business solutions penetration through cross sell to named accounts, in assigned territory.
·         Grow payment solutions by acquiring new customers onto LNM.
·         Acquire new customers on key SME products namely FFB, Easy 30/50 and Zidisha.
·         Ensure revenue growth by growing ARPA in the accounts through up sell.
·         Achieve the set NPS targets for the Accounts in the territory.
·         Ensure achievement of set churn targets for assigned accounts.
·         Develop strong relationships with customers to maintain ongoing revenue stream.
·         Ensure all accounts are managed through well thought out Account Development Plans
·         Monitor and supervise partner sales teams’ to achieve their assigned targets and ensure they have healthy sales pipelines to achieve the revenue targets.
·         Performance review with assigned Partner sales teams within the assigned territory and documentation of the same.
·         Maintain timely and 100% accurate territory reports on Partner sales teams review, competitor intelligence, Sales performance and all information relevant to the assigned territory.

Requirements

·         Degree in a Business related disciplines with an IT/Commercial bias.
·         Work experience of 3 years managing SME/SOHO Customers.
·         IT knowledge/working experiences will be an added advantage.
·         Strong relationship building skills preferably from the SME/SOHO Environment.
·         Ability to deliver results ,meet and surpass targets with minimum supervision.
Additional Details
·         Demonstrate ability to implement processes and handle cross functional issues from end to end.
·         Demonstrate knowledge of Safaricom processes especially the change management process.
·         Demonstrate ability to handle governance issues, bring people to task.
·         Demonstrate ability to schedule activities, identify resource needs, dependencies and synergies.
·         New Business development skills
