No elections on October 17 as French supplier of KIEMS kits says poll not possible - RAILA wins again

..ready by then.

Safran noted that they will not be able to meet the deadline of October 17th considering the KIEMS system needs to be upgraded without affecting the data from the August 8th election which is crucial for the election petitions which are in court.

“They told us that they don’t want to rush their work and risk a total failure of the system as this will affect their reputation,” IEBC Chairman, Wafula Chebukati, revealed what Safran told them.

The news has been welcome by NASA which has insisted that the polls be pushed forward to allow the clean-up of IEBC before repeat polls.
