“The period of temporary incumbency is stipulated in the constitution,” Wetangula said.


“The opening of Parliament must therefore await the fresh presidential election which must be held under article 140(3) of the Constitution and in accordance with the decision rendered by the Supreme Court of Kenya,” he added.
