Blow to UHURU as CHEBUKATI seals ballot deal with UN for repeat polls instead of AL GHURAIR - RAILA wins

Tuesday September 26, 2017 - President Uhuru Kenyatta has suffered a heavy blow ahead of the repeat Presidential elections scheduled for October 26th.


This is after the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) struck a deal with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) to shop for another firm to print ballot papers to be used in the repeat polls instead of the Dubai-based firm - Al Ghurair - which has been associated with President Uhuru Kenyatta’s family and Jubilee.
