..seeking leadership positions in both Houses as well.

The Bungoma Senator, who is also the Ford Kenya leader, gave strong indications that Raila may lose the case at the Supreme Court and that they would just be comfortable in the Opposition.

“We have agreed to attend Parliament tomorrow to be sworn in.”

“We have also agreed that as NASA members, we will not cross over to Jubilee side in the name of seeking development from Government.

“We also know how to get development without necessarily crossing over to Jubilee,” Wetangula.

Wetangula urged NASA MPs and Senators as well as independent legislators allied to them to remain loyal to Raila Odinga and NASA.

  1. That is a wise guidance from a leader with wisdom. As my learned senior who sat in the court for most of the proceedings and arguments the lawyers made on either side, it doesn't need too much intelligence to detect which side between the petitioners and the respondents was more hollow and not backed up by solid specific evidence. It became quite evident early that the strategy of the petitioner was to engage in a wild wide west chase for the geese for dinner. This became obvoius when the petitioners could not pick the issues that in their view served their interest most and wanted the court to address in reaching a ruling. That was dangerous because the were thefore not focused but it also allowed the latitude to hang on anthing the 1st and 2nd respondent may accidentally dropnin the air along the way or erroneusly slipped over in their submissions. It's a tricky balancing art and can either work well or goof. It's a huge risk to take.
