This tribute to six month old, baby Samantha, killed by Police in Kisumu will make you cry.

Thursday, August 17, 2017 - Baby Samantha Pendo succumbed to injuries on Tuesday, August 15, at the Aga Khan Hospital in Kisumu after being in a coma for five days.

The six month old angel was clobbered by police officers who stormed her parents’ house while containing post election protests.

A post mortem examination revealed that she died from severe head injuries that left her with fractures.

To mourn her, a lady by the name, Adu Mercy, has penned an emotional tribute on behalf of Pendo, which has touched everyone.

Dear Kenyans

My name is Samantha Pendo. Samantha in Hebrew means, Listen; Name of God. Pendo means love. In essence I was a reminder that God is love. I speak in past tense because I am no longer with you. I am now seated on Jesus’ laps. I arrived here yesterday. The pain I was in back at home is now gone. Home? Why does that word roll strangely on my tongue? Was Kenya really my home? Heaven is home.
