SONKO’s new directive aims to eradicate corruption at City Hall - Cartels are in trouble.

Sunday, August 27, 2017 - Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko has ordered cash flow within City Hall to be fully automated in a bid to plug loopholes for corruption and embezzlement.

Speaking on Sunday at a Church Service, Sonko said: “Nobody will be allowed to pay cash to acquire any service. I also intend to increase annual revenue from 15.5 billion to 30 billion.

He added: “My Government will also ensure proper streamlined decentralization of services to ensure this is achieved.

This comes after the Governor found over Sh 7million in the cash office during a sting operation last week.
