LUYHA MP tells RAILA to concede defeat and retire-UHURU won fair and square.

Sunday August 13, 2017-A youthful Luhya community MP has asked National Super Alliance (NASA) leaders to concede defeat  to allow the country to move forward.

Speaking on Sunday , Kimilili MP elect Didmus Barasa  asked NASA leader,  Raila Odinga,  to hand over to a younger leader, saying the Opposition chief could not match up to young politicians on the Jubilee side.

“Raila has served enough and pretty well as Opposition chief. He should consider honourably retiring and paving the way for a younger generation and live his life as a statesman," said Barasa.

He attributed the energy in Jubilee to Deputy President William Ruto who is eyeing the presidency in 2022.

"The Opposition needs a renewed and young energy that measures up to that of Ruto. The likes of Raila and Kalonzo [Musyoka] can't measure his strategies," Ruto said.

Barasa noted that Jubilee won fairly especially after capturing most Governor and MP seats in the country.
