KOFI ANNAN tells RAILA ODINGA to accept defeat-Go to court if you are not satisfied.

Sunday August 13,2017-Former United Nations Secretary General, Kofi Annan, has urged National Super Alliance(NASA) presidential loser, Raila Odinga, to accept defeat and also talk to his supporters who are protesting across the country.

In a statement on Sunday, Annan urged Raila Odinga that if he is not comfortable with the defeat, to go to court and not in the streets.

"The former Secretary-General calls on the political leaders to send clear messages to their supporters urging them to refrain from violence," read part of the statement.

The former UN chief emphasized the need for dialogue between the winners and the losers to defuse tensions that had led to violent protests.

Raila Odinga’s supporters on Friday night took to the streets to protest the election outcome.

The demonstrators continued engaging police mainly in NASA strongholds for the better part of Saturday.

They claimed that the election was rigged in favour of President Uhuru Kenyatta.

  1. RAO should seek a position in the international arena. UN special envoy to Somalia, South Sudan or Korea. Kofi Annan may help with recommendations. His talents will be better served in that capacity. In meantime, NASA should seat down and choose a new leader to lay ground work for 2022.

  2. Koffi Anan, that is the Raila you re-created for us. You taught him to refuse defeat. You are now talking of dialogue and we hope it is not for giving the crying baby 'Nusu Mkate, Nusu Mkeka'. That is not what we voted for.
We are tired of him being given whatever he manipulates for.
Anan, dnt you realize no dialogue can make Raila accept losing presidency not unless he is granted his way. We wonder why our supreme wish always gets submerged under the immature whims of a gluttonous pretender who has a heart for no one.

  3. Now, even Koffi Annan has finally seen the sham and fraud that is Raila. Raila is determined to destroy Kenya before he dies in misery in his old age.

  4. this the same guy who couldn't solve the garbage of 2007 and now want to be relevant!

    keep you advice to yourself.
