KENYA's ELECTION was FREE, FAIR and VERIFIABLE, NO votes were STOLEN! – ELOG

Saturday August 12, 2017-Elections Observatory Group (ELOG) has given the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) thumbs up, for conducting a free and democratic poll on Tuesday.

According to ELOG, it had found no evidence to suggest that the  election was manipulated or inaccurate, as the NASA leaders have claimed.

ELOG's parallel vote tally projected a victory for President Uhuru Kenyatta with 54 percent of ballots cast, compared to an official count of 54.3 per cent.

This was well within ELOG's 1.9 per cent margin of error, the group said.

Uhuru Kenyatta won the 2017 presidential election by garnering 8,203,290 votes, while rival Raila Odinga got 6,762,224.

Uhuru, who was earlier at KICC, received his certificate while thanking the commission chair, Wafula Chebukat.i for conducting the most credible election since 1963.

Elog also urged NASA leader, Raila Odinga to accept defeat and stop taking Kenyans for a ride.
