A night of protests and death in Kisumu after UHURU was declared President(PHOTOs)

Saturday, August 12, 2017-There were protests and running battles between Raila’s supporters and heavily armed cops in Kisumu  after Uhuru was declared President.
Rowdy supporters of Raila took to the streets waving placards and burning tyres after Uhuru was declared President.
They chanted anti-Uhuru slogans and started destroying properties.

Police had to use live bullets to repulse the protesters.
Several vehicles and a petrol station were burnt during the protests.
A number of protesters were also shot dead.
