The day BIWOT almost ‘killed’ UHURU and RUTO because of RAILA and KANU-UHURU will never forget it

..the party thanks to Biwott.

According to reports, a number of KANU supporters allied to Uhuru had agreed to join Raila’s ODM-Kenya but majority allied to Nicholas Biwott opposed the decision to team up with Raila.

The feud between Uhuru and Biwott, who had the backing of former President Daniel Moi, almost ended Uhuru’s political career - Biwott’s faction announced that it had replaced him and William Ruto as KANU Chairman and Secretary General respectively.

Biwott ousted Uhuru from KANU after he went behind his back and acquired the registration of new KANU, forcing him to go to the streets.

Uhuru was saved by then National Assembly Speaker, Francis Ole Kaparo, who ruled that he would keep his position as Opposition chief despite being ousted from KANU.
