Big blow to RAILA ODINGA as Court of Appeal allow AL GHURAIR to print presidential ballot

...tender saying the IEBC did not follow procurement rules like engaging the public before they awarded the tender to Al Ghurair.

But in their ruling, Court of Appeal judges said public participation is not a mandatory requirement for direct procurement.


Al Ghurair will now print the presidential ballot papers that were scheduled to start on Tuesday.

The company officials said they will print the presidential ballot papers from Friday this week and thanked Kenyans for supporting them.
