Jubilee politician beaten by women for refusing to give them money! This is RAILA’s zone, go away

..political rally at Mweza grounds in Likoni, where the women approached him demanding the allowance he had promised to give them.

The women shouted at him saying Likoni was an ODM zone and Jubilee was only wasting time by organising political rallies in the area.

“He called us here to attend his political rally and drum up support for Jubilee but he has nothing to give us.”

“How will we travel back to our homes, he is losing the battle to Hassan Joho,” said one woman who was only identified as Sarah.

  1. Electoral prostitutes are emerging in all forms and shapes across the so called party or coalition zones. Incidentally, the character of this practice is gender indiscriminate and we see it more as the campaigns hot up, not just between Jubilee and NASA presidential candidates but it is also in the county level politics especially in Mombasa, Kilifi, Meru, Nairobi, Kisumu, Uasin Gishu, Narok, Siaya, Muranga, Kajiado, Kisii, Taita Tavetta, Nyamira, Homa Bay, Kiambu, Machakos and Migori. Hunger for money and not ugali is the main driver for this electioneering behavior fuelled by politicians. The various incumbent govetnors are the most venomous players in this game. The former and current Council of Governors chairmen have a very dangerous gene in their mind set of combative approach in thei public relations with the citizens and the state. Their tough talking attitude is menifested with lethal language of hate and disunity and abuse. Their arrogance and deliberate effort to demonstrate disrespect for the presidency speaks volumes. Sadly to say, the opposition leadership has been enjoying and advocating for more of this vitirol. Unfortunately, there are politicized judicial officers whose deliberations have shown no doubt to which political discord they are affiliated. No matter how much the Chief Justice tries to sell the doctrine of his institution's independence, fair play and professionalism there are couple of his judges that live a lot to be desired. Of their number, it is Odunga and Mwita that stand out in their snap rulings on matters politic, that strangely always end up before them. It is not a secret that predicting their decisions and rulings are 99% correct the moment the cases start. This is a very damaging reputation for the judiciary as an institution of fairness and justice to all.Jojo is a Kenyan lawyer in Australia.
