IEBC mulls disqualifying UHURU from August polls and this is why - RAILA may win ‘unopposed’

..party as Uhuru/ Ruto are doing.

The President and his Deputy also risk disqualification for advertising their development achievements on a Government portal in order to woo voters.

“No Government shall publish any advertisements of achievements of the respective Government either in the print media, electronic media or by way of banners or hoardings in public places during the election period,” reads the Act.

It now remains to be seen if the IEBC will take the bull by its horns and disqualify Uhuru/ Ruto for contravening the Act on multiple occasions.
