What MUTUNGA said about MIGUNA MIGUNA’s diarrhoea on PASSARIS - This is too bad.Politics 05:53
Sunday, November 20, 2016 - Former Chief Justice, Dr Willy Mutunga, delved into the debate surrounding the altercation between Nairobi gubernatorial aspirants, Miguna Miguna and Esther Passaris, on Wednesday evening.
Appearing before Jeff Koinange Live on KTN, Miguna referred to Passaris as a socialite bimbo who always seeks fame by sleeping with billionaires like Equity Chief Executive Officer, James Mwangi, and former Kenya Power Managing Director, Samuel Gichuru.
Following these insults, Kenyans on the social media especially lonely women, hookers, divorcees and frustrated bachelorettes castigated Miguna terming him a male chauvinist who has no respect for women.
But Mutunga who is currently lecturing law in one of the Universities in United States said Miguna did nothing wrong by speaking against cartels but he did wrong by bashing Passaris.
Mutunga said Miguna, who is a Canadian trained lawyer, violated Article 10 and Chapter 6 of Constitution by abusing Passaris.
This is what Mutunga said.
1. I support Miguna fronting the cartels as a fundamental issue for the election. So is the issue of integrity and leadership.
2. By his attacks of Pasaris, has he not violated Article 10 and Chapter 6 of Constitution? Should this not also be a fundamental issue for him?
