Revenge! See what RUTO plans to do to police who beat him now that he returned from SACounty Politics, News 02:50
Sunday, November 20, 2016 - Bomet Governor, Isaac Ruto, has vowed to revenge against the police officers who beat him up in Silibwet causing him an injury.
Speaking on Thursday from South Africa where he was recuperating after undergoing surgery as a result of the police brutality, Ruto, who came back in the country on Friday in the evening, swore to fight police brutality in the run up to the 2017 General Elections.
He accused the police of intolerance and being used by the Jubilee Government to fight its critics.
“I am coming back with a new zeal to fight police brutality which has become rampant. Never again should the police be allowed to harass Kenyans who decide to organize themselves and picket over a myriad of issues affecting them,” said Ruto.
The Bomet Governor noted that he was not the only victim of the police brutality, especially in the run up to the 2017 General Elections and asked Kenyans to join him in the fight against the vice.
