Quack Nandi doctor given heroic welcome and urged to vie for this political seat (PHOTOs)

Monday, November 28, 2016 - Ronald Kiprotich Melly, the quack doctor who was arrested last week for impersonation of a medical officer, was given a grand reception in his Tinderet home over the weekend.

Melly, who was arrested in Nandi last week, was slapped with three charges namely; forgery of documents, using the title doctor without being licensed or registered and impersonation of a medical officer.

He pleaded not guilty to the charges leveled against him and was released on a Ksh 500,000 bond.

Residents hailed him for carrying out eight successful surgeries despite being unqualified and urged the government to help him finish his training instead of punishing him.
